FirstlyMusic is an independent French workshop creating original musical gear for players who want practical tools and a more distinctive setup.
Its products are developed from a musician’s perspective, combining technical experimentation, real playing experience and careful small-batch production.

Where music meets engineering
FirstlyMusic grew from a simple combination: a love of music, an engineering background, a taste for experimentation and the desire to create musical equipment that did not yet exist in the right form.
As a guitarist, I wanted tools that would fit naturally into the way musicians play—equipment that could simplify rehearsals, make an instrument more personal and bring something genuinely different to a performance.
This approach led to three complementary product families: reactive light-up pickguards, distinctive custom visual pickguards and BackAItrack, a standalone multi-track pedal designed for hands-free musical use.

Light-up guitar pickguards
Reactive RGB lighting brings movement and visual presence to Stratocaster-style and Telecaster-style guitars. Standard versions replace the existing pickguard, while OVRPICK fits above it without drilling or rewiring.
Custom visual pickguards
Existing extended Telecaster-style designs and individually reviewed custom projects offer new ways to explore shapes, colours, logos and visual themes.
BackAItrack
A standalone multi-track pedal for rehearsing, practising and performing with synchronized audio tracks, hands-free control and built-in offline AI stem separation.
Designed, assembled and checked in France
FirstlyMusic products are developed as workshop-made musical gear. They are assembled in small batches and individually checked before shipping.
This scale makes it possible to pay close attention to assembly, programming, testing and finish, while retaining the flexibility needed for selected custom projects.
Local and European sourcing
A continuous and particular effort is made to source parts as close to the workshop as reasonably possible. Whenever available, components such as enclosures and packaging cartons are sourced in Brittany. Light-up pickguard covers and extended pickguards are designed, developed and manufactured locally, while the electronic boards are assembled in Europe.
Clear information before ordering
Guitar dimensions and configurations can vary according to the brand, model, production year and instrument history. Compatibility templates, guides, manuals and videos are therefore provided to help customers understand the products and choose the appropriate configuration.
